We just wanted to send you a note about how incredibly blessed and ministered to we were from the LAM workshop. We have been married 39 years in December and have struggled in several areas in our relationship, perhaps the most hurtful in the area of connection and sexual intimacy. To the point this last April our marriage was in crisis. Through a series of events – too long to mention here – we started the process of “Nothing Hidden” and a sort of healing began, but even with a sense of new found freedom there were still a bunch of woundings in both of us which we partly still blamed each other.
We came into the workshop open, but a bit skeptical based on having attended many marriage seminars, and read a few books together in the past. We found your workshop to be unlike anything we had ever attended, to the point that I have told our kids (all married), that if they can only attend 1 marriage seminar in their life, it should be LAM. I normally do not like to write reviews especially during the euphoria of the experience. It has been two weeks since we returned from the Love After Marriage Workshop. I am still excited about what happened there for my wife and I.
How would I describe Love After Marriage? Life Altering Mindset (LAM) is the first thing that I think of, your teaching in not only for a great marriage but Biblical life principals that could be used in all areas of our life.
I think we all have been to teaching when you walk out you know it is great revelation but have no idea how to apply it to everyday life. The revelation you have and the way you share it is practical, applicable, and useable for everyone. Cindy’s word picture seems to fit, “The marriage conferences that we have attended in the past were like going to the carnival. We had a fun time, we ate cotton candy, corn dogs, and funnel cakes, but when we went home we didn’t really feel like we had anything we were bringing with us. After attending Love After Marriage we feel we are really going home with something.”
I am really excited about going through the workbook together, doing the homework, and improving a good marriage to an area somewhere near an exhilarated to overjoyed marriage.

We have been on a high ever since our return home. One of the results we have seen since we have been home is the natural inclination to speak each other’s love languages without it being such a conscious effort. Our connections sexually and emotionally have made us so much more aware of each other’s needs and desires. I (Melissa) find myself reaching out to give him (Rick) physical touch all day, and he has been so much more attentive to me and helpful around the house. We have learned that connection is vital to marriage and goes beyond just communication. We are so thankful for LAM teaching us the tools to deepen connection…spiritually, emotionally, and sexually.
We also love the fact that love-making is no longer just an act, but more of an experience. We are throughly enjoying our times with Holy Spirit in the bedroom worshiping, fellowshipping, and soaking in preparation for what is in store intimately for us. Our intimacy with and love for God is growing in new ways in our bedroom. It is the most wonderful way to end our day, and we really don’t want to ever miss a night!
